1. What is the Single Sign-On (SSO) system?

The Single Sign-On (SSO) system allows users to securely authenticate once, and then automatically access integrated systems in NSI without needing to enter their credentials.

2. What are the technical requirements for using the Single Sign-On system?

To use our SSO system, you need the following:
  • Operating System: Windows 10, Windows 11, Linux or macOS
  • Web Browser: Firefox, Chrome, or Edge
  • Software for electronic signature processing: BISS

3. Does the system work with all electronic signatures?

The system works with the providers listed in the Registry of Certification Service Providers in Bulgaria, maintained by the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC). The providers included in the national trusted list for qualified certification services are:
  • “BORICA” AD
  • “Evrotrust Technologies” AD
  • “Infonotary” EAD
  • “Information Services” AD
  • “SEP Bulgaria” AD

4. What is required to use NSI SSO?

To use the system, you need to have BISS (Browser Independent Signing Service for electronic signature processing) software installed on your computer. You can download the software from https://www.b-trust.bg/services/software

5. What are the supported authentication methods?

To use the system, you need to authenticate using one of the following methods:
  1. Qualified Electronic Signature (QES)
  2. Personal Identification Code (PIC) from NRA
  3. eAuthentication (only for natural person)
